My first standup card

Tis my sister's birthday and I made my very first standup card! I figured out that the reason I was having so much trouble with the photography was the paper I was coloring on - I love that paper but it has a sparkle to it and really affects the camera - it was an absolute no-no to use a flash. I had a good time making this card. I am actually fairly new to this scrapbooking/card making such as it is now. When I was a kid, I made cards because I didn't want to waste my money on them instead of the gifts! Now it probably costs as much to make the cards (if not more) than to go buy them! But what fun! I am approaching about 9 months since I began and loving every minute! Actually, it gets better each time I work on something!
